En Taro Adun!

First of all if you are reading this I just want to thank you for checking out my site, it really means the world to me! My name is Travis Zito and I am an aspiring web/software developer currently residing on Long Island, New York. I began my journey teaching myself how to code a few years back, starting with the book Python Crash Course. At the time I had no clue what I was getting into, I just thought the world of computers seemed really cool and always was curious to learn. Since then I have learned quite a bit on algorithms, data structures, OOP and web development, taking advantage of courses like Harvard's cs50 and the open source Odin Project. While my learning journey has been a bit sporadic since I had other things to attend to in life, I am now in a position where I am fully commiting to this path. Soon I will be attending Oregon State University to study computer science, starting in the Fall of 2023!

When I am not coding I enjoy reading, music, going for walks, and gaming. Some of my current favorite series include Starcraft, Age of Empires, Doom, Resident Evil, Advance Wars, and Mario Kart (the list is actually much longer than this but that would need a lot more space). I also love to play board games whenever I can get together to play with friends. Other than my hobbies I am the proud father of Kitty, the cat in the photo with me.
